TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE 〰️ DAY BY DAY 〰️ A SUSTAINABLE WAY 〰️

Holistic &
Specific

The focus of our programs is to help solve the growing disconnect between our bodies and our minds, between our actions and our health and between ourselves as individuals and our greater community. Whether focusing on the physical structure or the principles by which each of us leads our lives, we are always looking at the health of the whole person in their particular context.

The programs offered at The Iron Bird Way are tailored to address particular needs and to help to make meaningful and sustainable change with both confidence and support.

Peaceful

& Profound

Wherever you are on your journey, our work together is intended to be the beginning of a lifelong engagement with our health. While active, engaging with our health does not have to be arduous; rather, it can be both fulfilling and inspiring as we develop trust, confidence and joy in our deepening skills and clarity.

The programs at The Iron Bird Way empower individuals to reclaim their own well-being and cultivate a deeper sense of peace through trust and increased resilience.

Is The Iron Bird Way for you?

Do you want to prioritize your health, but feel disconnected and unsure where to start?

You’re overwhelmed by information and only feel confused trying to find answers in the conventional, one size fits all system. You're ready to take action to experience optimal well-being and reconnect to your health with awareness and intention. You know with the support of a personalized health plan, one developed with your personal health principles and practices, you can come to trust in yourself and bring more peace to your life and relationships.

Are you inspired to create new habits and routines, but struggle to stick with those changes?

Your past experiences of taking charge of your health has amounted to starting a bunch of new habits (sometimes all at once!) with good intentions, but then easily defaulting back to the status quo as soon as life gets busy. Maybe you were unsure whether or not those changes were really benefiting you or you didn't have the right support. You want personalized strategies to help you make profound shifts leading to a life of greater fulfillment and vitality.

Do you understand that health is a lifelong pursuit and not a final destination?

As a goal-oriented person, you love checking things off a list (me too!), however, you know deep down that health isn’t another checklist. Rather, you know that health is a pursuit requiring patience, consistency and ongoing self-assessment. You want to be able to both go with the flow and make intentional change. And you want a trusted guide to help you get on the right path, to help you develop new skills and to rejoice with you in your progress!

  • Modern research has shown that, on average, it can take 66 days to establish a new pattern of behavior. (For some, it can be as long as 254 days!) Resolving pain is synonymous with establishing a new pattern, in the body and in the mind. Programs provide accountability, consistency and support in making changes so that they can last. This is an investment in your present comfort and your future well-being.

  • Given the transformational nature of the programs offered at The Iron Bird Way, several sessions over a period of time are needed to effectively begin a repatterning process in our bodies and habits. Steps to ensure a good fit will be taken before committing to a program.

  • Many health plans to do not cover massage, wellness counseling or personal training, therefore we do not bill insurance. Clients are welcome to use their HSA or FSA accounts to make payment or to ask for an insurance-friendly receipt that they can submit themselves.

With advance approval, The Iron Bird Way does accept some injury and worker's compensation claims. Billing fees may vary in these cases.

  • Jessica is on the sub list at some local yoga studios and offers group classes from time to time and as requested. There is a great benefit in working one on one to address your specific needs and structure, so much of the work is done privately. To learn more about group classes as they become available, be sure to sign up for email newsletters.

  • Some programs are suitable for online work, yes! Those include anything that focuses on building awareness and healthful habits in day to day life. Movement and bodywork sessions are done in person. When coaching and training, it's essential to have a 3-dimensional view of a client in order to provide the safest and most comprehensive care.

  • An initial program is beginning a process of change. If the process is going well and the program is impactful, it is possible to continue working together to further address the root causes of the original issue holistically. The hope is that the person completing the program will feel confident in the skills they’ve gained in order to continue engaging in the changes they want to make through their own practices. This is all dependent on the complexity of the issue and how readily new skills and habits can be accommodated. For some people, it will be best to continue sessions with longer durations between each session long-term.
