Indications and contraindications
Beyond the sequenced, non-specific stretching taught in basic Thai Massage classes, this class will look at when stretching is indicated and contraindicated for specific individuals and how to take those favorite techniques from flashy to effective, from fun but vague to specific and helpful.
Based in the rarely shared extensive catalog of therapeutic stretches preserved in the Lanna Kingdom of Northern Thailand, this class will take the techniques Thai Massage is best known for into the realm of treatment, addressing problems of posture, mobility and pain through a holistic structural lens of the body and person.
Clinical insights from 15 years of consistent treatment of real-world client conditions will give participants the opportunity to learn how to work with limitations in mobility safely and effetively.
Tuition includes all class learning materials.
Pre-requisite: prior training in hands-on work.
This class is especially helpful for those who have some Thai bodywork experience and exposure, though not required.
Please review class policies and information and contact Jessica with questions before registering.
Class is limited to 6 participants with a minimum of 4 to ensure a beneficial learning experience for all.
Possible Snow Date: April 7, 2026 if any one class is cancelled due to weather.
